Our wild eastern Toms and Hens have proper leg color and tail tip coloring, these are the real thing.
A toms leg color should have a reddish to orangish hue to them and should not be gray or dark colored. The females have a dall gray leg coloring.
This leg color is the best way to tell if they are true wild blood lines. If the toms leg color isnt right they are a cross species and not of true wild bloodlines.
Tail tip color along with leg color is a sure good sign of a true wild eastern bloodlines.
Tail tips should always be copper to a tan color on the toms not white for eastern toms..
females are generally lighter in color on tail tips.
