~Helmeted Guinea fowl~

Guinea fowl have a long history of domestication, mainly involving the Helmeted Guinea fowl; in the UK they were usually known as "Gleanies". The young, called "keets" are very small at birth. The keets are kept in a brooder box inside the house until about 6 weeks of age, before being moved into a proper coop/enclosure. They will eat ticks, worms, ants, spiders, weed seeds while on range or they can also eat chicken layer crumbles as adults while housed in a coop/flight pens. The cooked flesh of guinea fowl resembles chicken in texture, with a flavor somewhere between chicken and turkey

We will have Guinea Keets(chicks) available by order only and fertile hatching eggs as well. No choice on colors as they all run in one large group.
These birds are raised at are partners farm TANYAVILAG, which is only about 5 miles from our farm. Keets are incubated here at Our farm and eggs are also packaged here as well.
