Keep up the great work, will contact you in the spring for some hatching eggs..
I was wondering how much it would cost or if you even ship hatching eggs. I have been looking for the lavender orpingtons and some of the chickens that lay those Easter eggs. I see you have the lavender orpington. Do you have the easter egg layers? I am wanting to order some eggs so I can hatch them out if you ship them please let me know.
I have hatched a beautiful lavendar orp-he is huge and 5 months old...beautiful blue legs. nice mellow guy. Anybody want him to show or for a pet or breeding? Thanks.
I want to start a small flock of birds to help control grasshoppers next year, and have been told that Araucanas are close enough to wild that they will hunt down grasshoppers. Your araucana page says no live chicks available. Do you have information on the best way to hatch eggs received by mail from your hatchery
(eggery?). I've had good success with live chicks received in the dead of winter, but would like to hear from the pros on egg hatching before I invest. Thanks.
Looking to buy some fertilized Orpington eggs for my broody buff to sit on ASAP. She will sit on the eggs and raise her poults in an inside heated area. I like all of the pics of the orpington breeds. Looking to buy a combination of whites and blacks. I found another Buff Rooster in our area from a different blood line so now I'm looking to try some of these other orpington breeds. I like the Orpingtons the best out of all the chickens I've ever had. They keep laying eggs through the coldest winter months and their meat is delicious. They are the best dual purpose bird I have found. I was wondering if the whites, blacks, and lavendars will be as good as the Buffs? Does anyone have any experience with the black, white, and lavendar orpingtons. Hope the Hinks will answer my requests for fertile eggs so I can allow my broody Buff to sit on them soon.
